DRAMA & CREATIVE ARTS PROGRAM
for children ages 6+ in Toronto

This hands-on program integrates a dramatic and creative arts structure to explore the core elements of acting, storytelling, and performance. Sessions include movement and voice work, improvisation, character-building, and collaborative scene creation, alongside creative interdisciplinary projects that are just as central as the dramatic work. Students might build simple props, craft costume pieces, make stick puppets, bake treats for performances, or design board games and characters with rich backstories. Children get to experiment, take creative risks, and learn how to build and share original stories and characters. Expect the occasional forest troll, misunderstood villain, or talking animal to make an appearance.

These creations become part of their performances, whether they are using handmade props in a scene, acting as a puppet they designed, or bringing to life a character they developed in a group performance. It’s an immersive way to bring their stories and imaginations to life.
