Policies and Procedures
Registration & Payment Policy
A non-refundable deposit of $75–$150, depending on the program, is required to hold your child’s spot in any Found Stage program, including after-school programs and camps. This deposit is applied toward the total program fee. The remaining balance must be paid by the date specified for each program, which will be clearly communicated, unless other arrangements are made in writing.
For camps and school break programs, full payment is required by the specified date. If a program fills and a waitlist is created, families who have only paid a deposit may be asked to complete full payment to confirm enrollment.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made 28 days or more before the program start date will receive a refund minus the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made within 28 days of the program start date are non-refundable for both after-school programs and camps, unless the vacated spot can be filled. If an after-school program or camp is canceled by Found Stage, whether before it starts or after it has begun, a full refund will be issued for any classes or days that are missed. For example, if only the last few classes of a program or the final day of a camp are canceled, a refund will be provided for those specific sessions.
Payment Options
Deposits are paid online at registration using debit, credit, or other available options. The remaining balance is invoiced and paid online by card, with a reminder sent prior to the due date. There are no additional fees for online payments.
Missed Classes & Missed Days
There are no refunds or credits for missed classes or days due to illness, travel, personal scheduling conflicts, or school or venue closures caused by weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
If a class cannot take place because a school or venue is closed or unavailable due to circumstances outside our control, such as lockdowns, power or utility failures, building safety issues, government orders, or severe weather, a make-up class may be arranged if possible; however, this cannot be guaranteed due to permit, booking, or scheduling limitations.
For camps and school break programs, make-up lessons are not possible because these programs run weekly and there is no time to make up missed days.
If a class is canceled by Found Stage due to instructor unavailability, a make-up date or refund will be provided.
Age & Program Placement
Found Stage programs are designed for children ages 5 to 12, depending on the specific program and offering. Age ranges, groupings, and program structure may vary by program, including camps and special programs, and will be listed on each individual program page.
Please contact us if your child is within one year younger or older than the listed age range for a given program and you feel they may be a good fit.
Child Behavior & Support Policy
Found Stage is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable space for all children. We reserve the right to withdraw any student from a program due to ongoing unsafe, disruptive, or harmful behavior. Children must be able to participate in a group setting without one-on-one support. For camps and school break programs, removal due to behavioral concerns is non-refundable, including any remaining days.
Pick-Up & Safety Procedures
For after-school programs held in public schools, children in Grade 1 will be picked up from their classrooms by Found Stage staff at the start of the program. Children in Grade 2 and up will meet the instructor at the designated class location.
Parents or guardians must pick up children promptly at the scheduled end time. Please notify us in writing if someone other than a parent or guardian will be picking up your child.
Photos & Media
From time to time, photos or short video clips may be taken during class to highlight the fun and creativity of our programs. These may be used on our website, social media, or other promotional materials. Families will be asked to complete a media release form at registration, and participation is always optional. Certain programs, particularly camps or special programs that include a professionally filmed performance or showcase, may require photo and video consent as a condition of participation. Any such requirements will be clearly stated at the time of registration for each individual program.
